Lowcountry Regional MLS is thrilled to announce a new regional data exchange initiative in partnership with  Coastal Carolinas MLS, and Greater Greenville MLS. This collaboration, facilitated by SourceRE and Modern.Tech, will provide seamless listing data sharing across our MLS platforms, eliminating the need to log into third-party systems. This initiative enhances opportunities for our subscribers by streamlining access to regional listing information, empowering them to serve their clients more effectively across multiple markets.

Regional Data Exchange FAQs

What is a regional data exchange?
  • A data exchange is an agreement between MLS organizations to share listing data across market boundaries. These agreements are designed to enhance efficiency for brokers and agents operating in neighboring markets, typically within the same state or region.
How does a data exchange work?
  • Partnering MLSs share their listing data with each other through a back-end system, allowing brokers and agents from each organization to view live listing data in real-time. This seamless integration ensures that all members have up-to-date access to listings across the partnering MLSs.
Will I have to do anything differently?
  • No, you will continue to use the MLS just as you always have. Soon, when you log in as usual, you’ll be able to search listings across the data share partnership, including Lowcountry MLS, Coastal Carolinas in Myrtle Beach, and Greenville. Brokers and agents in each participating MLS will have access to all listings within this network using their familiar local MLS platform, whether that’s Flex or Paragon.
Is there any additional cost to brokers and agents?
  • No, there is no additional cost.
Will the regional data exchange include any other MLSs or just these three?
  • Lowcountry Regional MLS is proud to be one of the founding members of the new regional data exchange, alongside Coastal Carolinas MLS and Greater Greenville MLS. This initiative is designed to support an unlimited number of MLS organizations, with plans to welcome additional participants in the future, further expanding opportunities for our subscribers.
When will I be able to search listings within the regional data exchange?
  • Later this year. As we complete the final stages of work with our tech vendors, we will provide a more specific launch date.
